Just got this from Sam. I can't make it, too late a kick off, so see you's at The Celtic Club for the match. Paul. Good Afternoon Club Presidents and Football Fans Gentlemen, the time has come to make good on those New Year resolutions. It is time to get back onto the football pitch. The Melbourne No. 1 Celtic Supporters Club warmly invite all willing participants to join us for a kick about (followed by and a restorative glass of ale) on Sunday 1st February 2009 at Albert Park. At this stage we intend to play on the grass fields located in front of the Indoor Sports facility but if the forecast predicts rain or high winds we shall endeavour to secure an indoor court for a couple of hours. Hopefully it can be bags down and kick off.... Please note that unlike our previous meeting this is a strictly informal day. You do not need to have a set number of players, structure or matching playing strips. We simply hope to get between 10 and 25 people together for a game and a laugh. I would grateful if you could forward this invitation on to your members and let me know if you have any interest. FOR YOUR PLAYERS INFORMATION WHEN 3pm - Sunday 1st February 2009 COST If on grass - Free. If Indoor - Roughly a tenner each. I will look to confirm the venue late next week once the forecasts for Sunday 1st February become available - probably Thursday.
