Hello Perth Boro Boys and Girls,
     I've just been in touch with Gella, and he's informed me that The Perth Boro Fans will be meeting at The Whale and Ale Pub, Ocean Falls Boulevard, Clarkson, 1 hour before Kick off, for the Boro v Chelsea game, Saturday 18th Oct. I'm not sure wot time the Kick off is in Perth but it's a 12,45 kick off in the UK and there clocks don't go back until the end of Oct. You had a great turn out for the Sunderland game with between 15 and 20 of you meeting up, so lets hope we get a few more for this game, and I'm sure the Whale and Ale is a much better venue.      

Sorry fella's. Just cause i follow the Boro doesn't mean i live in the north of Perth. Whats with all the Poms living Joondalup and beyond anyway???? It doesnt look a thing like the north east!

HI GELLA HERE BACK ON LINE AFTER MOVING HOUSE AND TRYING FOR TWO WEEKS TO GET  BIG POND TO GET ME UP AND RUNNING AGAIN, THEY ARE WORSE THAN NTL BACK HOME, DID NOT EVEN GET TO THE WHALE FOR THE CHELSEA GAME DUE TO FAMILY PROBS CAN ANYBODY TELL ME IF ANYBODY TURNED UP? SCOTTY IN REPLY TO YOUR BLOG AS I HAVE SAID A LOT OF US MAY LIVE NORTH BUT WE MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO MEET UP WITH EACH OTHER SO SOUTH OF PERTH IS NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION I WOULD EVEN ARRANGE A MINI BUS IT WOULD BE LIKE TRAVELLING TO AWAY GAMES ALL OVER AGAIN, OH AND BYTHWAY YOU ARE DEAD RIGHT ITS NOWT LIKE THE NORTH EAST THATS WHY WE ALL LIVE HERE COME UP AND SPEND A COUPLE OF NIGHTS IN MINDARIE MATE ILL PUT YOU UP. I LIVED IN ATWELL SOUTH OF THE RIVER WHEN I FIRST CAME HERE AND IF THATS SOUTH MATE YOU CAN HAVE IT, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING GOING ON UP HERE MY EXPERIENCE OF SOUTH WAS LIKE LIVING IN A GIANT RETIREMENT VILLAGE.

Hi Gella, 9 Boro fans turned up at The Whale and Ale, they said the venue was terrible again, you'll have to phone around and try and find a good football pub and maybe a venue a bit more central. Here's the photo that my Cousin Andy sent. Still a decent turn out for your 2nd get together, more than Sydney get and they've been going for over a year now

Hi Gella, yes the Whale wasn't much kop, the band coming on at halftime meant there was no sound. I can't blame anyone for that though, I was all for it beforehand. I enjoyed the night though, pity you couldn't make it but thats life mate.
I like the idea of the Boro bus going to away matches, definitely count me in for that one. Whats the Burswood like for stuff like that? Don't you have to be smart i.e. no Boro shirts? I'll keep looking for a venue. Speaking to the rest of mob at the whale, I think people would be keen on the bus idea. As long as the cops don't turn us back like when on the A19 ha ha!

Kudos for taking my gibes about the north with such good humour lads. For me, i reckon any of the English/Irish theme pubs around the traps in or around the city would be ideal. Places like Rosies, Elephant & Wheelbarrow, JB's and even Paddys at Burswood would be good. Football is best served with decent beers!

And thanks also Gella for the nights accom if i end up heading up that way for a match, that may have to be taken up.

OK LADS AS FOR FUTURE MEETS I HAVE A EIGHT SEATER PEOPLE CARRIER AND I AM WILLING TO DRIVE FOR THE FIRST ONE AND WATCH YOU LOT GET PISSED (just the once) IF WE CAN FIND A DECENT VENUE LET ME KNOW THEN IT WILL BE FIRST EIGHT NAMES TO CONTACT ME GET THE SEATS NOT PAST THE CITY AND NO FURTHER THAN YANCHEP .....
