Hi, i moved to Australia in may, living in Bondi now.  where do the SBS meet to watch the games???  does anybody know where will be showing the Boro v Spurs game?  it would be good to get a good crowd down to watch it.  hope to hear from someone soon,  Ste.

Bondi- We are just waiting for the Sydney bunch to get in touch and hopefully organize a decent veue for the Boro games. as soon as we hear anthing it'll be posted on here

Yeah hopefully we will find a better venue than last season the pbh didnt really work last season, Im just round the corner from bondi so ill be out next week, we just have to find a decent venue that will play the match ideas please

churchils looks ok, but i think ive found the solution its called moore park, loads of pubs near fox studios entertainment complex theres suppose to be a huge sports bar with loads of screens been there before bit like teeside park, just hope it opens till 3am, might check it out tonight

Thanks Ausbos - let us know what it's like? We need to get a good venue sorted out and tested before announcing another SBS get together.

Hi,  i phoned the above bar in darling Harbour, it has now closed the only one is in Paramatta.

I know that the OzSpurs have aranged to all meet in the 'Triple Ace Bar' where it is shown on viewers choice, im going to head down there after the Sydney FC V Melbourne victory game.  Lets get a decent turnout and out number the Yids!  there expecting 25/30 fans there.

we should go there next time then.  i watched it in the triple aces bar last night, its a full on spurs bar, very loud, packed with spurs fans.  Kept my colours covered up.  Should have seen the place though, there faces just dropped then total silence untill they gradually all left.  big smiles!  haha

I hear that Cheers Bar on george Street will be showing Liverpool V Boro on saturday 23rd.  I think its a bit more neutral in here so should be good.

Where did everyone watch the games last season??  we need to have a boro pub somewhere where every game will be on.

We used the Piermont Bridge Hotel (PBH). Which would have been good if they had "Viewers Choice". We organised a night out there last season for the Sunderland game and had 12-15 turn up only to find out they didn't have it when they originally told us they did? Very embarassing for the organisers...... So we just need to make sure that whatever venue we choose has "Viewers Choice". Cheers......

The problem with cheers is it can get really busy on a weekend and if the bouncers dont like the look of you they wont let you in

I watched the Spurs game in Cheers on Sat. There were three Boro fans in, and a similar number of Spurs fans (good friendly banter was had!). Probably the best venue for watching the premiership that I've found in Sydney so far. Could do worse...

Yes i spoke to you i9, Id had a few beers by half time, but for the liverpool match i think the pbh upstairs should have it on if not youve always got the option of starcity around the corner, anyone agree

not sure where starcity is.  ill be in cheers for about 11pm tonight to see whats going on.
