Afternoon all.

Im popping over here from Block17 to ask for some advice, and potentially buy someone a drink.
I'll be in Australia a fair bit in September, and id like to catch the away games at Pompey and Sunderland if at all possible. I havent worked out where im going to be when theyre on for definate yet - though for Pompey (Sat 13th) ill be in Sydney im almost certain. For the Mackems, ill probably be in Cairns, although im partly tempted by your meet up in Brisbane, though ill have to see whether itll hammer into my itinery.

So, how easy will i find it to catch these games, and wheres my best bet to watch them or find out where theyll be on?

Ta all, Up The Boro!

Hello Boro 85
Fistly The Boro Pompey game is the only game that weekend that is not Live on Foxtel (Sky). But Fox do have a highlights show on a Mionday night. We haven't got any members in Cairns so I don't know of any pubs up there that show the games live, there'll probably be a few though, maybe the best place to ask would be at a Back Packers. Get your self to Brisbane (the best City in Australia) for the Sunderland game, with the added incentive being The Pig & Whistle Parmo's. We'll have a good turnout with it being a early Kick Off, 9pm. For match TV info, read August and Sept Foxtel Fixtures threads. Keep us updated on whether you'll be coming to Brizzy or not.

Cheers Trev, im going to try my best to hammer it into my schedule. I like the sound of a beer or two, a parmo and the boro match on the telly.
I might not be able to let you know whether im turning up as chances are ill decide when im out there. But im presuming if i walk in with the new away top on ill find you lot!!

If you do make it to Brisbane, make sure you come to The Pig & Whistle Eagle St and not The Queen St Mall one (I'm sure you'll spot us). keep logging on for meet up times and info. Hope you have a great holiday
