Wonder what everyone thought of Huth & Tuncay leaving?

I'm in the opinion of 11 million for the 2 is pretty good business - I've just been onto the MFC website and Huth has played 51 games in all competitions in 3 years - average 17 a season with 27 last year!! I also think that I prefer Riggott as CB anyway.

I'm not too sure Tuncay is too much of a loss either - 18 goals in 2 seasons isn't the best and is one of those players that you have to adapt your team to. Hopefully Lita will get a big target man and I don't think we will miss Tuncay at all.....

Wouldn't mind a creative midfielder also.....

Tend to agree with you Clipper but Huth was starting to show some of his best form since joining.

Apparently we are in for Danny Webber as a target man but his record doesn't look that prolific.

Huth gone and feel comfortable with that. Looks like Tuncay gone (but stoke not happy with 65Kweek and he is hanging out for Villa ...so you never know) and Im not happy with that. He is our best player ..... will be interesting to see how GS strengths the front line if he goes.

If they want out then I say jog on to the pair of them, we've lost better players in the past and we just get over it and move on with players we have or players who want to come and play for the Boro for the right reasons

You are right Paul, you dont keep players who dont want to stay but you certainly stick out for what they are worth. I cant believe we have sold for those prices thats my only complaint as I said above, cattermole and lescott for 31 mill and we get 11 for huth and tuncay, Im writing this after we have been beaten by bristol, and southgate has openly come out and sid he has lost those two and there is more to follow and he has been told he has no money to spend , I ask the question again what the f**k is going on get lamb and gibson in front of the press i think we are owed some explanations.  

Small mindedness is creeping in to the Boro, Huth and Wheater were being laudered as one of the reasons we were so stable at the back. Now we get rid of one of them?

The only hope i have is we go up, Stoke go down and there is a refund policy in place on return transfers.

Anybody else heard these rumours of Gibbo, divorce, company in wife's name and so 50% of value going to her and therefore in fnancial $hit..........

hello all - my first post, thought i'd join up for a bit of banter.

the key to your season now is for Wheater to stay fit - if you lose him thorugh injury for a few weeks you could really struggle at the back. i think tuncay is a big loss for you, but he is a premier-league level player and if he wanted to go, there was no point making him stay.

good move to get rid of alves though. he was pants.
