Worst town/city I ever worked in in UK ........ Airdale(outskirts of Castleford) ... not quite .......there are so many ....... OK  ...  HULL ... and they are 4th in Premiership  

The worst place I've worked was Runcorn, an absolute dump. It's just a dumping ground of some of the worst Scousers who won't work. Horrible place. I suppose we should be carefull on this subject, as Middlesbrough was said to be the worst place in England to live. Maybe yhats why we are all here  

There's too many dumps to choose from and yes Boro is one

Melton Mowbray of pork pie fame. Pedigree petfoods had a factory there and all my washing in the summer hung outside would smell of "hot meat". Spent a year there.... never again.

Not even sure where Melton Mowbray is , my worst back to back placements were a week in Goole followed by a week in Grimsby ...... East Yorkshire has some beautiful spots ! The huge Birds Eye factory in Grimsby produced an amazing aroma in Summer  

Graythorpe Dry Docks just next to Hartlepool Nuclear Power Station closely followed by Fixby Water treatment works just outside of Huddersfield - the only Laing site at the time that gave out free-issue balaclavas becasue it was so cold in Winter!
