1 - 1 , I never get 2 predictions in a row correct - if I do it must mean my final position of 9th will be correct. |

1-1 for me too. It's always tough to get any kind of result there, so a point would be a bonus.

Playing at Anfield is always tough, but we were pretty solid through most of the game against spurs in defense. It'll be interesting to see how hoyte performs... What do you reckon for the team? Who will be the back 4? Hoyte, Wheats, Pogi and Taylor? No spot for Huth? The positive nature of the game against spurs worked as well, i.e. we left alves and tuncay up front when defending a corner... I wonder how Southgate will play it in the away games... COB |

I reckon he should drop Huth and stick to the same game plan and hit them on the break. |

Personally I would move Pogi to left back, bring Wheater into CB and play Hoyte. Other than that I think Tuncay might play a little bit closer to the midfield 4-4-1-1 type formation First game of the season at Anfield, Liverpool will really go at us - just need to keep them out for 20 mins and then see what happens........... |

Whilst I'm obviously hoping we win my head says that Liverpool will bounce back in this game and we'll go down 2-1. Even though he scored against Spurs I was far from convinced by Wheater as he gave the ball away far too often (I'd like to know what his pass completion rate was). We got away with this against Spurs but Liverpool are a different proposition. |

Yeah it will be either a liverpool win or draw. Its good though that mascherano aint going to be back since his duties with argentina in the final of the olympics will keep him out of action. Dont forget there is international friendlies this week and could be some niggling injuries happening. Fingers cross nuttin happens to tuncay with turkey!! |

Another entertaining game like last season but this time without Arca gifting them a goal and no sending offs. I'll go for a 2 v 2 draw

I would like to be ambitious and tip an away win, but to be honest if we can score a goal or 2 and take a point back with us i would be very pleased. 2 - 2 Torres & Gerard, Downing & Alves. |
