That was the most impressive opening day performance for many a year. Gareth's vision of youth and attacking flair is starting to blossom. I'm trying not to get carried away by one win........ but it's hard not to get EXCITED!!!!!!  

I couldn't agree more Mido. After watching Liverpools poor displays at Standard Liege in Europe and at Sunderland, we have nothing to fear. Away games will actually suit our style, hitting teams on the break with our pace. Well done Sir Gareth keep it up.      

Completely agree...certainly feeling optimistic. Be interesting who Gareth plays up front next weekend now that Mido has got on the scoresheet. Hope he gives Alves more of a go as he was a bit unlucky.

I think Southgates biggest decision will be who plays in Defence, now that Hoyte has signed, Huth and Pogs had a good game as did Taylor, but Wheater isn't a Right Back but will always chip in with a few goals. So who does he drop or will he go with 3 centre halfs?
