Come on then lets have your predictions for the new season. I'll go for and will be happy with a comfortable 12th, and another good Cup run to keep things exciting. I think we could shock a few teams this season with our pace and slick passing, with the added bonus of having a goal scorer this year in Alves.

I pretty much agree with you TT, but hope we can bring a new keeper in before the start of the season, then I'll be more confident of a 10th 11th or 12th position

Sadly I think it'll be another 13th avoiding the drop with about 3 games to go. with The Boro performing well against the top teams but throwing stupid points away against the dross teams. Same old Boro

I'm going to buck the trend here and say that we'll qualify for Europe and also win a cup!!!

After watching The Boro Celtic game I'll go for 9th. we looked pretty slick with our movement and passing with some great pace. I'd love the league Cup as well but won't be greedy

I agree with Bear. There was some grounds for optimism in the way we played against Celtic so I'm going to go for 10th.

I'm really concerned about the keeper situation so will go for 12th - doubt we will be in as much trouble as last season so fairly comfortable but it might see Downing leaving in January as I doubt very much we will challenging for Champion's League!

I was going to predict 9th or 10th but now with Young on his way I might wait until just before the 1st game and see if we bring in any more players before I cast my vote

Let's be positive 7th - with a Cup Final!

We do need a decent keeper though!

I've never felt this optomistic since we had Juninho etc. There's a difference this time: Robson didn't have a good defence. I think everyone's forgetting that Southgate was a defender. I'm sure he know's what he's doing??

I am feeling very excited about the new season and will vote for a 9th place finish and another good cup run. Even Mark Lawrenson on The BBC has predicted us having a good season   not sure whether thats a good or bad thing

If we can get a good right back in and maybe a new keeper or central midfielder before the Window shuts, we can more than match The likes of Man City Blackburn Villa and Pompey, so I'm going for a 8th place finish    

agree with rest of the boys really and I making this comment after seeing our brilliant start to the season but I also think not signing a quality keeper may cost us at least ten-maybe 14 points this season
